PROJECT OVERVIEW
Following TAB activities for an office fit-out at Al Batha Office Tower, MCUBE Engineering Consultants was engaged to independently review and verify the reported HVAC balancing results. The objective was to provide a standards-referenced assessment separate from the specialist contractor’s own report.
THE REQUIREMENT
The project required an independent review of airflow, static-pressure and chilled-water balancing information, with verification against design intent and recognized TAB / commissioning guidance.
OUR SCOPE
- Review of specialist TAB records against the available design drawings and equipment information.
- Independent recalculation and verification of airside measurement data.
- Review of chilled-water balancing information and hydronic performance data.
- Benchmarking against ASHRAE 111, CIBSE Commissioning Code M and SMACNA TAB practices.
- Preparation of an independent verification conclusion and prioritized follow-up recommendations.
OUR APPROACH
MCUBE reviewed the airside and waterside evidence as separate but connected systems. This prevented one system from being treated as the cause of another system’s performance concern and provided a clearer diagnostic pathway based on measured data and design criteria.
